Doubting God?

27 “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27 NIV)

God is amazing! He cares SO much for us no matter what we do. Yet many times, I find myself doubting God. Thinking things like, "That is impossible! I will never be able to do that or go there!" When it just said "is anything to hard for me?" Even in the little things we need to trust God completely and with our whole hearts. It says in Luke 1:37 "For nothing is impossible with The Lord."  If you really think about it, that is amazing!! God can do ANYTHING.               -----"Worrying will not give you anything in life, but it will take away from it; it will take away happiness, joy, faith, confidence, and fun; and soon you spend so much time worrying that your life has slipped away. So which one is the better option: worrying or not worrying?" -Madison Mullins -----"God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Glory to God in the church! Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus! Glory down all the generations! Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes! (Ephesians 3:20, 21 MSG)---- I chose the Message translation because it speaks so clearly in this verse to me.The "theme verse" at my church www.dallasfirst.org.  Is Psalm 37:4 "delight thy self in The Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart."  Now, that does not mean Jesus is a wishing well. However, if your desires match up with God's desires, he will find a way to make it happen. :)  ~~"Faith is not knowing what the future holds but trusting in the one who holds the future"~~ Next time you find yourself doubting God or feeling hopeless, remember the verse at the top and pray. So all three of us got together today and went swimming! Afterward we all went to Madison's house and had fun being girly. We put on makeup (mostly Ashley's, because we love hers!) , did hair(thanks Ash again for doing my hair!!) and just being goofy (like taking selfies in the mirror!) all together we had a great day! We have been trying to post more frequently so I hope you are enjoying reading our blog! (Photo bombed by Harley!!)

Having the Mindset of Christ When it Seems Impossible

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: (Philippians 2:5 NIV)

Jesus Christ sees us as Children of God. It says in    1 John 3:1 "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is because they do not know Him."     As is stated in this scripture, we are children of God! That is amazing! However, I am constantly finding myself aggravated with someone or thinking of someone poorly. Something I do when I start to get negative thoughts about people is think that ~THEY ARE CHILDREN OF GOD TOO!~ as hard as it might be to like them we must try as best we can to see them "with the same mindset as Jesus Christ"  it doesn't mean we have to be friends with them, it just means we need to know that God loves them and we don't know what they are going through. They could have a horrible situation or self confidence issues. Who knows but The Lord? So next time you find yourself having those thoughts remember the verse at the top and pray for those you re struggling in your relationships with.

Peace of God - Devotional

15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. (Colossians 3:15 NIV)

I think it is so amazing that God loves us and will do anything for what is best for us. Notice I said "what is best for us" not "what we want" or "what we think God wants for us" Jesus loves us so abundantly that He wants the best. Even if it makes us mad at the time, He knows that it wil better and that we will be grateful for it down the road. So in the scripture above, it says "Let the peace of God RULE in your hearts." What I take away from this verse might not be what you take away. But, I think it is saying that when we get angry, frustrated, hurt, sad, or even happy. We need to call in The Lord and ask Him to place His peace in our hearts. I capitalized RULE because I believe we should try to live and do everything with the peace of God. The peace of God is so amazing! Obviously we will mess up, but with God's help we will accomplish much!  Before I end, I want to leave one more scripture. John 14:27 - peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubles and do not be afraid.Thanks so much!! -Madison

Summers already here! Last year i found this really cheap swimsuit online! Remington CI95AC2 Pearl Ceramic Professional Curling Wand

Okay, I got this hair curler a while ago an never even thought about blogging about it until today when I did my hair. It is only $19.99 at Walmart!! Which is super cheap compared to other brands, however it works just as well! Different to normal hair curlers, you wrap pieces of hair AROUND it. It is very easy and literally heats up to 410 degrees Fahrenheit in 30 seconds! You can control the temp on it. My hair is naturally as straight as hair can get. People ask me if I flat iron it! I answer, " No!". And normally my hair won't hold a curl. However, this curler will! It stays! Which is crazy considering my hair type!! Worth every penny!! Here are some pics to follow!!
