The Truth about Modesty~ Part 2

Hey guys! So I just got back from a conference, it was supper fun,spiritual, and uplifting! So any ways I just wanted to share some of my thoughts on a topic that was shared and, it's on Modesty and guys .
   So it is extremely hard to find adorable, appealing, and modest clothes. But, DONT GIVE UP!!! Here's a story that one of the speakers used! (This is just from what I remember)

So this guy loved to fish, so he went fishing in the amazon. The amazon has piranhas right? Anyways, he and some other fishermen would throw raw meat into the river and watch them come up and eat it. As the piranhas were eating the meat the fisherman would flip them into the boat.

So we are going to take this story and change some things to people. So,
Piranhas = men ( boys)
Flesh (meat) = our skin

The piranhas are the men who will look at every one that has more flesh shown (no matter if they are in a relationship or not). Those are the guys that your relationship will come to a bad end with, such as things that crossed ( or will ) you life that you knew from the start are bad.

So to continue with the story, he's now fishing in Utah and he wants to catch trout, and he new as a fisherman that he could not use flesh to catch these guys, he would have to use power bate.

 So let's relate this again:
Trout= men
power bate= high standers

 The "trout" are the men who will find the good in YOU and will admire YOUR skills, and how you handle your self, how you think of your self and other people. They are the ones that you will find better skills and quality then the piranhas.

As you can see that the second story did not have flesh in it. So to get to the point, the more flesh you show the more of the "piranha " you are going to attract.  The less flesh you show the more "trout" your going to get! -ashley

While we may get attention from showing skin, and dressing immodestly, it will be the attention from boys who are not God's best and are truth be told, jerks. It will be the incorrect attention and hurtful to you.When you dress modestly, you will get the correct attention you deserve. You should want to be admired for your inner beauty not your physical beauty.* Remember a pretty face is nothing compared to a dirty heart.

*Here are some Bible Verses on Modesty,(some you might have read on "Modesty~Part 1") :
 1 Timothy 2:9 ( written on "Modesty~Part 1")
 · 1 Peter 3:3-4 (is written in the top left corner of blog)

 · Proverbs 31:30 » charm Is deceptive & beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.---- MaDiSoN
